It is official. I am finally all in sync with my life. My drivers license has the correct weight and more importantly... my correct name. It officially says my new married name. No more having to take my marriage certificate everywhere I dang go. 3.5 years of marriage... and now the state (district) finally recognizes it. I spent the morning in the DMV today... to which I was pretty certain really is the 10th circle of hell. Actually it wasn't that bad of an experience when you are finally the one that gets to talk with somone, and Dax was there... there were just too many people to process. The line was out the door before they even opened. You gotta feel for DMV employees. Dude... I am sure they are dealing with really frustrated annoyed people all day long. ALL DAY. The ones I came in contact with were really cool though... so that is good. I think Dax and I got out of there as happy campers because we were expecting to have to come back at least 3 more times because we don't have the right paperwork. ... Anyway.. on the ride in over the Key Bridge this morning... I saw and an OSPREY. You know... those military airplane/helicopter doohickeys. Very cool!!! If you can't get excited about the fact that it is the Friday before Labor Day.. then you have got issues my friend.
